Description
The Ziva Velocity Rower is a professional rower with ten levels of magnetic resistance and a 5 inch high brightness LCD console fitted as standard. The console reads power in watts, stroke rate in SPM, heart rate, calories, distance and time in real time, so intervals can be prescribed by output rather than by feel. The frame combines reinforced steel and aluminium alloy, folds with integrated transport wheels in under 30 seconds without tools, and is rated for daily intensive commercial use. The list price is 1 350 EUR excluding VAT.

Intensity, acoustics and floor management
Magnetic resistance behaves differently from air or water resistance in a commercial room. The ten levels are fixed and reproducible: level 3 for a returning member and level 8 for an advanced athlete deliver the same load every session, which is what makes rowing programmable in a circuit where several participants share the same timing but not the same fitness. Air resistance, by contrast, rises with cadence and cannot be dosed at the very low end needed for early rehabilitation.
Noise is the second differentiator. There is no fan wheel, so a row of these machines does not build up the broadband rush that makes coaching by voice difficult, and they can be used at six in the morning in a hotel fitness room with guest bedrooms above or a reception desk alongside. Real time watts allow precise interval prescriptions, for example ten repetitions of 45 seconds at 200 W with 20 second recoveries, and week to week comparison of the same protocol.
At 244 cm long in use, a rower occupies a corridor of floor rather than a footprint, which is why the folding frame matters. One person can bring machines out for a class, lay out the circuit and stow them vertically afterwards without a second pair of hands. Maintenance is limited to cleaning the rail, checking the seat rollers and footplate straps, and inspecting the handle strap.
Frequently asked questions
Magnetic, air or water resistance, which should a club specify?
Magnetic suits studios and hotels where silence, reproducible levels, low maintenance and folding storage matter. Air resistance is the reference for competitive and functional training where an open, cadence driven curve is wanted.
Does the machine need a power supply?
The console is self contained, so the rower can be positioned anywhere on the floor without planning a socket into the layout.
Can several units be quoted together?
Yes, fleet quotations and installation are available. Send the number of stations and the room dimensions with your request and we will reply within 24 working hours.
