Description

The Signature Steel 18 kg is the step-up load of the competition kettlebell range developed with Steve Cotter: the bell for practitioners moving beyond the 16 kg standard who want a more ambitious load without changing feel or format.

The in-between weight that earns its place

Most kettlebell ranges jump straight from 16 to 20 kg — a 25 percent increase that stalls many practitioners. The 18 kg closes that gap, letting members intensify swings, deadlifts and squats progressively, and making clean and press or push press work accessible at the next level rather than two levels up. The full Signature Steel range runs from 4 to 36 kg in 2 kg steps, so this fine-grained progression continues across the whole park.

All-steel, black powder coat, easy-ID markings

  • Handle and bell in steel: dense, stable, professional feel
  • Black powder coat stated by the manufacturer to resist scratches, corrosion and cracking
  • Contrasting yellow numerals identify the weight at a glance in a lined-up park
  • Signature design developed with Steve Cotter

Frequently asked questions

Why choose 18 kg over jumping to 20 kg?

Because a 2 kg step preserves technique while intensity rises. On ballistic movements like swings and cleans, smaller increments keep movement quality intact — the reason the Signature Steel range is built in 2 kg steps.

Which movements does 18 kg serve best?

Heavy swings, deadlifts and squats for strength and power; clean and press and push press for upper-body strengthening by level; heavy farmer and suitcase carries for grip and core; and dense conditioning circuits.

How is the finish maintained?

Wipe after use, store dry and work over a mat — that preserves both the floor and the bell’s powder-coat finish over years of service.
