Description
The Bodytone 6 kg cast iron kettlebell is the swing-learning load of a 4 to 32 kg professional range: one-piece coated cast iron that protects floors, survives constant set-downs and keeps a consistent handle for one- and two-hand work. Price: 44.50 EUR excluding VAT.
Why one-piece cast iron for club use
A monobloc casting can never shift off-axis — unlike filled kettlebells, whose loose cores drift and rattle with use. The coating absorbs the thousands of set-downs of daily class rotation without marking rubber floors, and the smooth, regular handle lets swings and snatches rotate in the palm without tearing skin. These are the criteria that decide whether a kettlebell fleet survives intensive daily use.
The role of the 6 kg step
Six kilograms is where swing technique is learned: hip hinge, timing and overhead control settle in before load is added. In group programming it is a staple of beginner classes, and in a graded fleet it bridges the 4 kg introduction bell and the 8 kg progression. The Bodytone range climbs in steps from 4 to 32 kg, so one handle feel serves the entire membership.
Cast iron or competition — the fleet question
Coated cast iron offers the best durability-to-price ratio for a club’s general training floor. Competition bells, calibrated to a single body size at every weight, serve dedicated kettlebell sport practice — both families are in our catalogue, and many facilities run the two side by side.

How many bells does a facility need?
For group classes, the rule is one bell per participant at the class’s working weight, which makes 6 kg one of the most-duplicated sizes in the fleet: a twelve-place beginner class needs twelve bells at or around this load. On the open training floor, one or two 6 kg bells per rack suffice, since individual users spread across the full 4-to-32 kg progression. Storage follows the same logic — tiered kettlebell racks keep class sets ready to deploy and stop bells migrating across the floor. We size the split between class stock and open-floor stock with you at quote stage.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the 6 kg bell for?
Swing initiation and beginner group classes: it is the load where technique is built before progressing to 8 kg and beyond. Coaches also use it for high-repetition finishers with advanced members.
Does the coating really protect the floor?
Yes, for normal set-downs — the coating cushions the contact that bare iron would print into rubber tiles. It is not a licence for throwing; slam-resistant loads exist for that.
Can you compose a complete kettlebell fleet?
Yes. We build graded fleets with weights matched to your audiences plus storage racks, with quantity discounts on a free quote sent within 24 hours.
