Description
The Etenon R8102 puts three of the most used pressing exercises on one selectorised frame: flat press for the lower chest, incline press for the upper chest and overhead press for the shoulders. Three seat positions switch between them in about thirty seconds, which is why the machine is specified so often for compact premium gyms where every square metre has to earn its place. It is the upper body pressing reference of the Etenon R8 range, declared compliant with EN ISO 20957.
The arms are iso-lateral and work independently of one another. That matters for two populations in particular: members with a left to right strength imbalance, who otherwise let the stronger side carry the movement, and patients in post-operative shoulder rehabilitation, where each side has to be loaded separately and progressively. A conventional linked press cannot do either.
Load selection is by pin on a 100 kg column, with no tools and no plate handling, so the machine keeps up in a club with high rotation. Construction follows the commercial specification of the range: welded steel frame with a powder coated finish, dual density synthetic leather upholstery and sealed bearings, sized for 10 to 14 hours of daily use over an 8 to 12 year service life. Machine weight is around 215 kg.

Where a three in one press earns its place
In a full size club the R8102 sits at the head of the pressing group and absorbs the traffic that would otherwise queue on three separate machines. In a hotel fitness room, a corporate wellness space or a boutique gym of 40 to 80 square metres, it does something more useful: it delivers a complete chest and shoulder offer from a single footprint, which is usually the only way those rooms can cover pressing at all. Allow clear space behind the seat for the backrest to recline through its positions and on at least one side for entry. Physiotherapy practices choose it for the independent arms rather than for the space saving. If you are sizing a compact room, send us the plan and we will show what the machine replaces and what still needs to be added, free of charge and before any quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Which exercises can be performed on the R8102?
Flat press for the lower pectorals and triceps, incline press at 30 to 45 degrees for the upper pectorals and shoulders, and vertical overhead press for the anterior deltoids and triceps. All three are reached by repositioning the seat.
Is it suitable for beginners?
Yes. The iso-lateral paths are guided, so the movement is secured without a spotter and the machine can be used unsupervised, which is why it is common in hotels and corporate sites.
What is the expected service life?
The machine is dimensioned for 10 to 14 hours of daily use over 8 to 12 years, and is covered by a 24 month parts warranty with 10 years on the frame.
