Description
The Etenon R8203 is a selectorised assisted pull-up and dip station that lets every member perform two demanding bodyweight movements with up to 100 kg of counterweight assistance. It brings a pull-up frame and a dip frame together in a single compact footprint, and the retractable platform folds away automatically so that stronger athletes can train unassisted on the same unit. Light In Fitness supplies the R8203 to commercial gyms, hotels, corporate wellness rooms and rehabilitation centres across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Assistance works by counterweight rather than by added resistance. A member weighing 80 kg who selects 30 kg of assistance lifts an effective 50 kg, which brings the pull-up within reach of beginners, older members and users returning from injury. The selector pin makes that adjustment in a few seconds, so the station keeps moving during peak hours. With the platform folded, the same frame serves advanced athletes performing strict pull-ups and dips at full bodyweight, which is why one unit can cover an entire membership base.
The pull-up bar offers wide and neutral grip positions, allowing latissimus dorsi work at different angles, while the dip handles load the triceps, lower pectorals and anterior deltoids. The frame is welded steel with an epoxy powder coating, the pads are dual density and the bearings are sealed for high traffic environments. Grip surfaces on the pull-up and dip bars carry a non-slip treatment.

Where the R8203 fits in a professional layout
The station belongs in the free weight or functional zone rather than inside a machine circuit, because users routinely alternate between assisted and unassisted sets. Leave a clear approach on the platform side and check overhead clearance so that a tall user can reach full extension above the bar. Hotels and corporate wellness rooms value the machine because it is fully guided and can be used without supervision, while rehabilitation centres use it for closed chain shoulder and rotator cuff work where load has to be reduced progressively. Our team runs a free layout study from your floor plan before quotation if you are unsure how the unit sits against your existing equipment.
Frequently asked questions
How much assistance can the machine provide?
The selector supplies up to 100 kg of counterweight, enough for practically every adult user to complete controlled repetitions. Lighter users can also work with only a few kilograms of assistance as they progress towards unassisted repetitions.
Does the platform have to be adjusted by hand?
No. The platform retracts automatically as the user steps on to it and the counterweight mechanism engages at the same time. Folded away, the station is used as a conventional pull-up and dip frame.
What does the quoted price cover?
The price shown is for the machine itself, excluding VAT. Delivery is available to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, and export is priced per project. Installation and assembly on site are quoted separately. Quotations are issued within 24 working hours.
