Description

The SPICA draws three steel arches together at a single apex, creating a slender, elegant profile that stands out without dominating. Inside, a diamond-formation rope network, an intermediate platform and a diagonal climbing wall multiply the ways up and across – a compact all-rounder for schools, neighbourhood parks and residential playgrounds.

Three arches, countless ways to climb

Children aged 5 to 14 enter via three triangular access nets, three climbing ropes, a linear ladder or the diagonal wall, then work through the central diamond formation. A horizontal platform at 1.9 m and a reinforced rubber surface at 2.7 m create staging points at height, with linear seats in the upper section for catching breath. Because the free fall height is limited to 2.0 m, surfacing requirements are lighter than on larger climbers – a real budget advantage.

Frequently asked questions

What is the benefit of a 2.0 m free fall height?

Lower certified fall height means thinner, less costly impact-attenuating surfacing across the 10.6 x 9.7 m safety area – while the 4.1 m structure still looks and feels like a serious climb.

How many access routes does the SPICA offer?

Seven in total: three triangular nets, three climbing ropes, plus a linear ladder and diagonal wall, so groups can flow through the structure without congestion.

Is the SPICA suitable for school playgrounds?

Yes – its compact footprint, moderate fall height and varied difficulty levels make it a frequent choice for primary and secondary school grounds.
