Description
The RAKIETA play tower turns any playground into a launch pad. Shaped like a rocket ready for lift-off, it combines rope climbing inside a galvanised steel tower with a polyethylene tube slide starting at 3.6 m, all wrapped in a futuristic HPL shell. It is a natural landmark piece for theme parks, municipal playgrounds and leisure resorts.
A rocket-shaped landmark with real play value
Two separate access points – a crawl tunnel and a side entrance – keep children moving through the tower without queues or bottlenecks. Inside, polypropylene ropes reinforced with galvanised steel wire form the climbing route up to the slide platform, so the ascent itself is part of the challenge for users aged 5 to 14. The 10 mm HPL cladding protects the structure, resists vandalism and gives the rocket its distinctive look.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the free fall height only 2.0 m on a 6.3 m tower?
Climbing takes place inside the enclosed tower and the slide is a closed tube, so the certified free fall height is limited to 2.0 m. Impact-attenuating surfacing is sized to that value, not to the overall height of the rocket.
Can the RAKIETA anchor a space-themed playground?
Yes. Its 6.3 m silhouette is designed as a focal point, and our team can plan complementary rope and spring equipment around it, with a full layout drawing included in your quotation.
What maintenance does the HPL cladding need?
HPL is weatherproof, colour-stable and easy to clean; routine inspections focus on rope tension, slide condition and fixings in line with EN 1176 operational requirements.
