Description
EUROPA assembles fifteen interconnected rope cubes into a three-dimensional cross, tensioned on four posts in a 3.0 x 3.0 m configuration. It is the largest volume of climbable rope in the two-post and four-post collection.
Climbing inside a volume
A net gives a surface; a cube assembly gives an interior. Children enter EUROPA rather than climb over it, and once inside they can go up, sideways or diagonally through the openings between cubes. Routes are not visible from the ground, so the module rewards exploration and keeps producing new games long after the novelty of a flat net has gone.

Capacity for the surfaced area
The square safety area of 8.3 x 8.3 m is roughly 69 square metres of impact attenuating surface to EN 1176-1. Against that cost, EUROPA holds more children at once than any linear module in the collection, which is why it is the usual choice where one item has to serve a whole playground.
Maintenance
Cube assemblies have many connection points, and they are the focus of inspection: connector security, rope tension and sheath abrasion at the intersections, under the routine, operational and annual regime required by EN 1176.
Documentation supplied
Every module is delivered with installation instructions, a maintenance schedule and the certificate of conformity issued by an independent certification body, together with the implantation drawing prepared for the site. That package is what an operator needs to open an inspection record on the day the playground is handed over.
Frequently asked questions
Can supervisors see children inside the structure?
Yes. The rope construction is open throughout, so a child at the centre of the volume remains visible from outside.
Is it suitable as the only item in a small park?
It works well as a single item because it offers climbing, hanging, sitting and hiding in one structure, but it needs the full 8.3 x 8.3 m surfaced square.
How is it set out on site?
On the same 3.0 x 3.0 m post grid used by the other four-post modules, which means a scheme can start with EUROPA and add net modules later on matching setting-out.
