Description
The KONOPUS delivers the climbing frame children instantly recognise: a classic spider-web net stretched between two ground-anchored steel posts, reinforced by two triangular side panels. Simple, robust and easy to integrate, it is a dependable centrepiece for medium-sized playgrounds in parks, schools and holiday resorts.
The classic spider web, engineered for public use
The radial web invites children aged 5 to 14 to climb towards the centre, traverse between strands and hang from the upper ropes, training coordination, upper-body strength and confidence at height. The two triangular panels stiffen the whole assembly and add secondary climbing routes, so groups of children can play across the full 10 m span at the same time.

A web between two posts gives a long, low-profile climbing line that fits rectangular plots and sight-line requirements better than a tall pyramid, while still offering a 3.0 m climbing height.
What ground preparation is required?
The two posts are concreted 1.0 m deep; the full installation area of 13.0 x 9.0 m must then be finished with impact-attenuating surfacing rated for a 3.0 m free fall height.
How durable are the ropes?
The 18 mm braided, bonded polyamide strands and corrosion-resistant connectors are built for intensive public use; periodic retensioning during routine EN 1176 inspections keeps the web taut for years.
