The TRAINER SW05A is a single high bar station measuring 216 x 100 x 202 cm and weighing 120 kg, certified to EN 16630:2015-06. It is the simplest module in the street workout range and, in most parks, the most used one. A bar at the right height covers pull ups, chin ups, hanging leg raises, front and back levers and static holds, and it is the station beginners approach first because nothing about it needs explaining.

Street workout parks are often specified from the most photogenic modules downwards, and the plain bar gets treated as filler. Usage data says the opposite. A single bar takes pulling work at every level, from assisted rows with the feet on the ground to muscle ups, and it is the only station in a circuit where progression is entirely in the user hands. At 202 cm the bar is high enough for a full dead hang for most adults while remaining reachable from a small jump.

Siting and inspection

The 500 x 616 cm safety area is considerably larger than the 216 x 100 cm structure because it has to cover the swing and fall envelope of a hanging user. Surface it continuously against the free height of fall on the installation drawing, and keep the zone clear of benches, bins and path edges. Ground anchoring is required.

The tube is shot blasted and hot dip galvanised before painting, so the zinc layer carries corrosion protection independently of the finish. On a bar station the coating wears fastest at the grip points, which is cosmetic rather than structural. Routine checks should cover the anchors, the fixings and the bar surface for burrs.

Is one bar enough for a street workout area?

As a standalone installation it suits a small park or a trail stop. In a calisthenics area it is normally combined with parallel bars, a horizontal ladder and a wall bar to build a full circuit, which is what the modular geometry is designed for.

Who can use it?

Users from 140 cm in height and up to 150 kg, at an intermediate difficulty level. Beginners work from the ground with inclined rows before progressing to full hangs.

Can accessories be hung from the bar?

Suspension straps and rings are frequently used on bars of this type, but any permanent addition to a certified public structure should be agreed with the supplier so that the certification and the fall zone calculation remain valid.
