Description
The TRAINER Low Parallel Bars are a ground-level street workout structure measuring 130 x 58 x 20 cm, weighing 20 kg and certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland. At just 20 cm high, they open floor-based calisthenics, low dips, straight-arm supports and core work, to every level of user.
Low height, wide training menu
Low parallettes are the most underrated element of a calisthenics area. Close to the ground they remove the fear factor of full-height bars, so beginners learn dips, tuck holds and push-up variations safely; advanced users turn the same bars into L-sits, planche progressions and handstand presses. Rated medium difficulty with a 150 kg user limit, the structure serves initiation sessions and elite skill work with equal legitimacy.

Programming ideas for coaches and schools
Low bars shine in structured sessions. School classes use them for push-up ladders and support holds where every pupil works at ground level with no fall exposure; boot camps station them as one leg of a circuit for L-sit holds and dips between runs; calisthenics clubs claim them for planche and handstand skill blocks. Because the height removes the intimidation of full-size equipment, participation rates among beginners are consistently higher than on elevated stations, which is exactly what public installations are judged on. A pair of low-bar structures side by side also enables partner formats and timed relays.
Frequently asked questions
Can the low bars be combined with other structures?
Yes. They are designed as part of the modular TRAINER street workout system: typical pairings add a full-height dips station and a pull-up frame, giving a three-element course that covers push, pull and floor work within a shared surfaced area.
What can be trained on 20 cm high bars?
Low dips, push-up variations with increased range, straight-arm supports, L-sits, tuck planches and core drills. For skill-based calisthenics, low bars are often used more than the full-height stations.
Are they suitable for beginners?
Especially so. The near-ground height removes fall risk from learning support positions, which makes this the recommended first station for street workout initiation in schools and public parks.
How are they installed?
The structure anchors into the ground for permanent stability, within a recommended safety zone of 458 x 530 cm per EN 16630. Installation can be included in the project quotation.
