Two heights, two ability levels

A single pair of parallel bars serves whoever the height happens to suit. Setting two pairs at different heights on the same frame changes that: the lower pair allows assisted dips with the feet on the ground, L-sits with a short drop and support holds for beginners, while the higher pair gives full dips, swings and the elevated positions that experienced calisthenics athletes want. One module, and nobody is excluded by their strength level.

The most productive module in a street workout rig

If a site can only fit two modules, parallel bars should be one of them. The dip is the highest-value pushing movement available without equipment loading, it trains the chest, triceps, anterior shoulder and the whole abdominal girdle, and the same bars serve for progressions from a beginner’s support hold to advanced static holds. Nothing else in the range covers as much of the training spectrum from one structure.

Construction

Tubular high-grade steel, shot-blasted and hot-dip galvanised, then finished with two layers of weather and UV-resistant polyester powder coating. The module is ground-anchored, which is required given the swinging and dynamic loads applied to parallel bars. Standard colours are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other RAL references on request.

Why is the safety zone 710 cm deep?

Because users travel along the bars and dismount off the end. EN 16630 sizes the zone from the movement envelope, and a 312 cm bar with travelling use generates a considerably longer envelope than its own length. Plan the surrounding layout from the zone figure, not the module footprint.

Can it be combined with pull-up modules?

Yes, that is the intended use. The TRAINER street workout system is modular, so parallel bars, pull-up bars, traverse bars and wall bars share connection points and can be assembled into a rig and extended in later phases.

Are the bars suitable for wheelchair transfers or assisted walking?

No. These are calisthenics bars, dimensioned and certified for body-weight training, not parallel walking bars for rehabilitation. For accessible outdoor equipment, specify from the wheelchair-accessible range instead.
