Description
The TRAINER adductor and stepper is a two in one outdoor station measuring 134 x 74 x 150 cm for 60 kg, certified to EN 16630:2015-06. One frame carries a seated adductor movement for the hips and waist and a stepping movement for the legs, so a single foundation delivers two distinct exercises. On a compact municipal fitness area, where every station has to justify its footprint and its civil works, that combination is what keeps a circuit varied without doubling the budget.

Two movements, two training effects
The adductor side works the inner thigh and the muscles of the waist through a controlled opening and closing action, improving hip mobility and coordination. It is one of the few outdoor movements that addresses the frontal plane at all, which matters because almost every other station in a typical circuit works forwards and backwards. The stepper side is a simple alternating climb for the quadriceps, glutes and calves that raises heart rate quickly and is rated easy, so it suits older visitors and complete beginners.
- Adductor movement for inner thigh, hips and waist
- Stepping movement for legs, glutes and whole body coordination
- Easy difficulty on both sides, no technical threshold
- Two exercises on one foundation and one safety area
- Body weight resistance, no stack or selector
Installation and inspection
Reserve the 412 x 375 cm safety area and surface it in line with the free height of fall on the installation drawing. Because the two movements are used from different sides of the frame, place the station so that both approaches remain clear of paths and planting; a common mistake is to site a combined unit against a boundary and lose access to one of its two functions.
Steel is shot blasted and hot dip galvanised before the two coat polyester finish, and the panels are HDPE, which does not need repainting. The pivot bushings on the adductor arms and the stepper pedals are the parts that accumulate cycles fastest; include them in the routine operational inspection and hold a set in the spare parts stock for busy urban sites.
Frequently asked questions
Can two people use it at the same time?
The two functions occupy different positions on the frame, so simultaneous use is possible provided the safety area gives both users room. In practice most operators plan for one user at a time and rely on the second function to reduce queueing.
Is the resistance adjustable?
No. Both movements work against the user body weight, which is standard for unsupervised outdoor equipment and removes any adjustable part that could be misused or damaged.
Is it suitable for a senior fitness area?
Yes. Both movements are rated easy, involve no impact and require no learning, which is why the model is regularly specified for health trails, senior circuits and residential or campsite fitness zones as well as for municipal parks.
