Description
The TRAINER D24 adductor weighs 55 kg, measures 68.3 x 74 x 150 cm and needs a safety zone of 369 x 374 cm. It is the lateral hip station of the OutdoorFit range, mounted on a support post or a load-bearing wall.
The plane most outdoor circuits ignore
Walking, cycling and every pressing station move the leg forwards and backwards. The adductors and abductors work sideways, and they are almost never loaded on a public fitness trail, even though weakness there shows up as hip and knee pain long before it shows up as poor performance. Seated on the HDPE seat, the user opens and closes the legs against body weight, which trains the pattern directly and needs no explanation.
- Muscles worked: legs, thighs, hips and gluteal group
- Additional benefit: cardiorespiratory system and motor coordination
- Difficulty rating: moderate
- Minimum user height 140 cm, maximum user weight 150 kg
Materials, finish and compliance
The frame is high-grade steel, shot-blasted and galvanised, protected by a double layer of polyester paint. The seat is an HDPE panel, chosen for durable comfort in full sun and in frost. Standard colourways are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other shades on request. The station complies with EN 16630:2015-06 and has been tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Site planning
With one of the smaller footprints in the range, 68.3 x 74 cm, the adductor fits positions where a wider station would not. The clear area of 369 x 374 cm is still the governing figure for the layout, and the seated position means users approach from the front rather than from the side, which is worth checking against circulation paths.
Frequently asked questions
Is the support post included?
No. The published price covers the adductor unit only. Posts are ordered separately and can carry more than one station, which is how the OutdoorFit range reduces the number of foundations on a project.
Who benefits most from this station?
Older users and anyone rebuilding hip stability after a period of inactivity, but also runners and cyclists, whose training loads the sagittal plane almost exclusively.
Is the seat comfortable in extreme weather?
The HDPE panel does not reach the surface temperature of bare metal in summer and does not crack in frost, which is the reason the material is used across the range for seating.
