TRAINER Steel4Fit Adductor - Reinforced Outdoor Leg Station

The TRAINER Steel4Fit Adductor is a pylon-mounted outdoor leg station built to the reinforced Steel4Fit standard: seamless S355 steel on the curved members, S235 on the straight sections, hot-dip galvanised and twice powder coated in red and graphite. It measures 103 x 72 x 202 cm and weighs 40 kg plus a 50 kg pylon. Light In Fitness supplies it at 1,686 EUR excluding VAT.

What Steel4Fit changes

Steel4Fit is TRAINER’s heavy-duty specification for sites that take abuse: dense urban parks, seafront promenades, sites with a vandalism history. Curved elements are formed from seamless S355 rather than welded tube, which removes the weld seam as a failure point on the parts that carry the most bending load. Straight components use S235. Everything is hot-dip galvanised before two coats of powder paint, so the corrosion barrier is under the colour rather than being the colour.

Movement and benefits

The user sits and drives the legs outwards against the levers, then controls the return. The work falls on the adductors and abductors of the thigh, the hip stabilisers and the glutes. Because the movement is continuous and rhythmic rather than maximal, it also contributes to cardiovascular conditioning and to motor coordination, which is why the station is rated easy and is suitable for the general public without instruction.

How does Steel4Fit differ from the standard TRAINER finish?

Same movement geometry and the same certification, different material specification. Standard TRAINER stations use high-grade welded steel, galvanised and double coated. Steel4Fit upgrades the curved members to seamless S355 and fixes the colour scheme to red and graphite. Specify Steel4Fit where the site is exposed, heavily used or hard to reach for maintenance.

Is the pylon included in the price?

The 50 kg pylon is quoted with the station. Where several pylon-mounted units are grouped in one circuit, some can be paired on a shared post, which reduces the number of foundations. We set this out on the layout drawing before ordering.

Why a minimum user height of 140 cm?

Below that height the feet do not reach the pedal plates in a position that keeps the knee tracking correctly. For younger children we specify the dedicated junior stations instead, which are dimensioned for their leg length.
