Full-body work at an easy difficulty level
Arms and legs move in opposition, as in cross-country skiing, so the station loads the legs, the arms and the trunk in one continuous pattern. That combination is unusual on an outdoor circuit: most stations isolate either the upper or the lower body, and few train coordination at all. Difficulty is rated easy and the movement is self-limiting, which makes it accessible to every level while still producing a genuine cardio-respiratory effect over a sustained session.
It is also one of the more intuitive stations on a public site – users understand the movement without instruction, which matters where there is no signage or staff.

Frequently asked questions
Is the movement suitable for beginners?
Yes. It is rated easy, the arc is limited by the frame and there is no load to select. It is one of the stations we recommend placing near the entrance of a fitness area for that reason.
Why are station and pylon weights listed separately?
The station weighs 50 kg and the pylon a further 50 kg. Both are needed to size the concrete foundation, and the drawings supplied with the order use the combined figure.
What maintenance does it need?
An annual inspection of the pivot bearings, anchor bolts and coating. There is no cable, stack or upholstery to replace.
