Description
This TRAINER combined set brings a surfer, a nordic walker and a twister together on one outdoor frame, giving three complementary mobility and coordination exercises in a single installation. The surfer strengthens the waist muscles and improves whole body flexibility and coordination by working the spine and the hips. The twister targets the waist region, relaxes the back muscles and improves spinal mobility. The nordic walker improves lower limb mobility, balance and overall coordination.
Rated easy on the difficulty scale, the set is aimed at the population that outdoor fitness areas most often fail to serve: users who want mobility, balance and gentle cardiovascular work rather than strength. Three stations on one frame also means three people can train at once, which matters in a park where a single station forms a queue.

Site planning for a health trail
The safety zone of 5190 x 3720 mm, around 19.3 m2, is what governs the position of the set rather than its 2.19 m frame. It must remain clear of paths, benches, planting, kerbs and other apparatus, and it defines the extent of any impact attenuating surfacing, dimensioned to the free fall height under EN 1177. Anchoring is into concrete foundations sized to the ground conditions.
Mobility and coordination stations work best positioned early in a circuit, where they function as a warm up before the strength apparatus, and near seating so that older users have somewhere to rest between sets. The set suits urban parks, municipal fitness areas and health trails, and the 140 cm minimum user height should be stated on the signage.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this set for?
Users looking for mobility, balance and coordination work rather than strength, including older adults and anyone in a reconditioning programme. The difficulty is rated easy and the movements are self limiting.
Can three people use it at once?
Yes, the three stations are independent, which keeps a public area flowing instead of forming a queue.
What maintenance is required?
Annual inspection of anchors, fixings, HDPE panels, moving parts and the paint film maintains EN 16630 compliance. Steel structures carry a 20 year warranty and wear parts remain available after the sale.
