Description
The TRAINER double pull station develops the upper body through a pulling movement, for two users at the same time. It strengthens the shoulders, the back, the scapular girdle and the pectorals, and its double format is what makes collective outdoor training practical: two people can work in parallel, a coach can compare technique side by side, and the station does not become the bottleneck of a circuit.
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted and hot dip galvanised, then finished with a double coat of polyester paint. Bearing points use HDPE panels resistant to impact and ultraviolet, which is what gives the contact surfaces a long service life outdoors. The unit complies with EN 16630:2015-06 and is tested and certified by TUV Rheinland for safe use in public spaces.

Balancing an outdoor circuit
Pulling stations are the ones most often left out of a compact outdoor scheme, and their absence shows: a circuit built entirely around pressing reinforces the forward shoulder posture that the population most likely to use a municipal park already has. Installing this station opposite or alongside a pushing station corrects that, and the double format means both patterns stay available even when the area is busy.
The recommended safety zone of 498 x 374 cm must remain free of paths, benches, planting and neighbouring apparatus, and it determines the area of any impact attenuating surfacing, sized to the free fall height under EN 1177. Anchoring is into concrete foundations designed for the ground conditions, and a survey before ordering is worthwhile on made ground or where drainage is poor. Typical settings are urban parks, municipal fitness areas and health trails.
Frequently asked questions
Which muscles does it train?
The shoulders, back, scapular girdle and pectorals, through a body weight pulling movement. It complements a pressing station rather than duplicating it.
Is it suitable for beginners?
The difficulty is rated medium and the resistance comes from the user’s own body weight, so the effort scales naturally with the person using it. Signage explaining the movement is worthwhile on an unsupervised site.
Who installs it?
Light In Fitness can quote supply only or supply and installation, with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export costed per project. We have equipped local authorities and specialist facilities from Tours since 2013.
