Description
The TRAINER push and pull station combines a pressing movement and a pulling movement on a single outdoor frame, developing the upper body muscle groups. The exercises strengthen the pectorals and the muscles of the scapular girdle and the upper limbs through the double action: pushing on one side, pulling on the other. Combining both patterns in one unit is what makes it efficient in a public circuit, where a push only station leaves the back untrained and a pull only station leaves the chest untrained.
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted and hot dip galvanised, then finished with a double coat of polyester paint. Handles and components are HDPE panel, which stays usable in sun and frost and does not splinter. The station is certified to EN 16630:2015-06, tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Site planning for a fitness trail
The declared safety zone of 5210 x 3710 mm, close to 19 m2, is the figure that governs the installation rather than the 1.9 m footprint of the frame itself. It must stay clear of paths, benches, planting, kerbs and other apparatus, and it defines the extent of any impact attenuating surfacing, which is dimensioned to the free fall height under EN 1177. Anchoring is into concrete foundations sized to the ground conditions, so a site survey before ordering is worthwhile on made ground or where drainage is poor.
The station suits urban parks, municipal fitness areas and health trails. Because it covers both a push and a pull pattern, it is a sensible first upper body unit for a compact scheme, and additional TRAINER stations can be added later to build a full circuit provided the layout reserves the space. The minimum user height of 140 cm should be stated on the signage.
Frequently asked questions
How does the resistance work?
The station uses the user’s own body weight through the push and pull movements, so there is nothing to adjust, nothing to power and nothing that can be misconfigured by an unsupervised user. That is what makes body weight equipment the standard specification for open access sites.
Can two people use it at the same time?
The double movement is designed for one user at a time working both patterns in sequence. For parallel use in a busy area, additional stations from the range can be installed alongside.
What maintenance is needed?
Annual inspection of anchors, fixings, HDPE panels and the paint film maintains EN 16630 compliance. Steel structures carry a 20 year warranty and wear parts remain available after the sale.
