Twister Triple TRAINER - Three-User Outdoor Waist Twister

The Twister Triple TRAINER is a free-standing outdoor waist twister with three rotating platforms, so three people train side by side on one foundation. Three stations on a single footprint

Municipal fitness areas are judged on throughput as much as on equipment count. A single-post twister serves one resident at a time; reference R08C serves three, which changes the queuing behaviour of a small park circuit at peak hours and makes supervised group sessions realistic. Each platform has its own handle column, so users rotate independently and at their own tempo.

Movement and muscles worked

Standing on the disc and rotating the hips against fixed handles mobilises the hip joints and the lumbar spine, engages the oblique and transverse abdominals and opens the chest through the arm position. Resistance comes from body mass and rotational control rather than from added load, which is why the station is rated easy and suits a mixed public from teenagers to older adults.

Built for permanent outdoor installation

The frame is high-grade steel, shot-blasted and hot-dip galvanised, then finished with a double layer of polyester powder coating. Rotating platforms and handles are UV-stabilised HDPE panels, which hold their colour and stay comfortable to grip in direct summer sun. Corrosion protection on this range comes from the galvanising, not from stainless steel.

Colour options

Four standard combinations are held: yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006). Other RAL references are quoted on request, which matters when a council works to a defined street furniture palette.

Overall dimensions and the required safety surround are issued with the project drawing, because the free-standing version can sit on a concrete pad or on ground anchors depending on the substrate.

Frequently asked questions

Does the free-standing version need a concrete foundation?

It needs a prepared base, but not the deep pylon footing used by post-mounted stations. On stable ground the frame is fixed with anchors into a concrete pad; on softer ground we specify a larger pad. The choice is made from your soil survey and confirmed on the installation drawing.

Can three users of different heights train at the same time?

Yes. The rotating platform is at a fixed low height and the handle column is gripped at chest level, so the movement adapts to the user rather than the reverse. No adjustment is needed between users, which is what makes the triple format practical in an unsupervised park.

What maintenance does an EN 16630 station require?

A routine visual inspection at least quarterly and an annual main inspection, covering anchor points, platform bearings and coating condition. Galvanised steel with a double polyester coat does not need repainting on a normal cycle; damaged coating is touched up locally.
