Two stations, one foundation
The twister and the surfer are usually sold as separate items. Combining them on a single structure halves the number of foundations, halves the anchoring work and puts two complementary movements within a step of each other, which is exactly how they are used in practice: a rotation, then a lateral swing, then back.
For a municipality equipping a health trail, that is a direct saving on the civil works line of the budget, not just on the equipment.
What each station does
The twister mobilises the hip joints and the lumbar spine, strengthens the abdominal muscles and stretches the pectorals. It is the classic warm up and mobility station, and the one older users return to most.
The surfer works the lower body, strengthens the obliques and the hip muscles, and develops flexibility and coordination through a lateral swinging motion. Balance work of this kind is one of the few interventions with real evidence behind it for fall prevention, which is worth remembering when a station has to be justified to a council.

Materials and finish
High quality steel, shot blasted and galvanised, with a double layer of polyester paint. The standing platforms are HDPE panels, which keep their grip when wet and do not become uncomfortably hot in direct sun. Colours: yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006), lime (RAL 6018/9006), other shades on request. Galvanised and painted carbon steel, not stainless steel.

Can two people use it at once?
Yes. The twister and the surfer are separate positions on the same frame, so two users can train simultaneously. That doubles the throughput of the footprint on a busy area.
Is it suitable for older users?
It is one of the stations most often specified for them. Both movements are low impact, self paced and rated easy, and they address mobility, balance and coordination rather than strength.
Does it need a shock absorbing surface?
