Description
The TRAINER Double Nordic Walker lets two people train at once on a single anchored frame measuring 1910 x 500 x 1330 mm for a total weight of 100 kg. It is built in shot-blasted, galvanised high-quality steel with a double polyester paint coat, and it is certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland. Professional price: 2,580 EUR excluding VAT.
Low-impact lower body and cardio-respiratory work
The nordic walking movement loads the legs and hips through a long, guided stride while keeping the hip joint unloaded in compression. That combination is what makes it the most used station on a public fitness trail: it is immediately understandable without instruction, it raises heart rate quickly, and it remains accessible to older users and to people returning to activity.
- Two working positions on one frame, so two users train simultaneously
- Difficulty rated easy, no instruction needed before first use
- Maximum user weight 150 kg, minimum user height 140 cm
- No moving parts requiring lubrication or seasonal servicing
- Ground-anchored installation on concrete foundations
Corrosion protection and finish
The steel is shot blasted, galvanised and then coated twice in polyester paint. This three-stage treatment is what separates equipment specified for open public sites from indoor equipment moved outdoors: galvanising handles the substrate, the double polyester layer handles UV exposure and surface abrasion. The station is galvanised steel throughout, not stainless.
Standards and site planning
Certification is to EN 16630:2015-06, the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment in free public access, verified by TUV Rheinland. The required safety zone is 4920 x 3540 mm, which is the figure to use when checking whether a site can take the unit: the frame itself is small, the safety zone is not.

Frequently asked questions
How much ground area is actually needed?
The frame occupies 1910 x 500 mm, but the planning figure is the safety zone of 4920 x 3540 mm, roughly 17 square metres kept clear of paths, benches, trees and other equipment.
Is a two-user station worth the extra cost over a single?
On a municipal trail, yes in most cases. Two positions on one foundation halve the civil works per user and remove the queueing that makes a station unusable during peak hours or a supervised group session.
Can the colours be changed?
Four colourways are standard: yellow, graphite, orange and lime. Any other RAL reference can be quoted, which is often required where a council has an existing colour scheme for street furniture.
The Double Nordic Walker is quoted at 2,580 EUR excluding VAT, before delivery, foundations and installation. Send us the site plan and the number of stations you intend to install and we will return a full budget covering equipment, groundworks and surfacing, usually within 24 to 72 hours. Other stations are listed under outdoor gym equipment.
