Construction and corrosion protection

Shot-blasted, galvanised high-quality steel finished with two coats of polyester paint. Galvanising protects the substrate, the double coat resists UV and abrasion at the contact points. The structure is galvanised steel, not stainless. Panels are HDPE, which does not absorb water and tolerates repeated cleaning.

What is the difference from the standard pec fly?

The direction of the movement. The standard fly closes the arms in front of the body and loads the chest and anterior shoulder. The reverse fly opens them outwards and loads the posterior shoulder and mid-back. The two are complementary, and a trail intended for general public use benefits from both.

What surfacing is required underneath?

There is no free fall height on a standing station of this type, so grass, compacted gravel, bonded surfacing or rubber tiles are all acceptable. The choice is usually driven by accessibility and by the rest of the site.
