The TRAINER R01A single chest press is an outdoor upper body station of 104 x 70 x 164 cm weighing 70 kg, certified to EN 16630:2015-06 and tested by TUV Rheinland. A guided pushing movement loads the pectorals, the scapular girdle and the arms against the user own body weight, with no stack, no cable and no setting. It is one of the few outdoor strength stations that a complete beginner can use correctly on the first attempt, which is why it appears in almost every municipal fitness area.

Unlike the pylon mounted stations in the OutdoorFit family, the R01A stands on its own foundation and does not require a support post or a load bearing wall. That makes it the straightforward choice for an open park, a health trail or a wellness area where there is nothing to fix to and where the layout may be extended later.

Corrosion protection and site duties

The steel is shot blasted at high pressure and galvanised before receiving a galvanised base coat and a weather resistant polyester top coat. Protection therefore sits in the metallic layer under the paint rather than in the paint itself, which is what allows the station to be sited on coastal, urban and exposed inland locations without a maintenance regime.

Reserve the 416 x 370 cm safety area and surface it against the free height of fall on the installation drawing. Operator duties are the same as for the rest of the circuit: routine visual checks, periodic inspection of the moving joints and fixings, and an annual main inspection recorded in the site log. The quoted price is net and excludes transport and installation costs.

Frequently asked questions

Can the resistance be adjusted?

No. The station works against the user own body weight through the lever geometry. Intensity is varied by cadence, range and repetition count, which is the standard approach for unsupervised public equipment.

Which station should be installed with it?

The R02A single lifter, which trains the pulling side of the upper body. A circuit with only pushing stations reinforces the postural imbalance most visitors already have.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. The difficulty rating is moderate, the movement is guided, and the resistance scales naturally with the user. Anyone above 140 cm and under 150 kg can use it without instruction.
