Description
The TRAINER Flat Bench Chest Press is an outdoor bench press station using body weight as resistance, 1,950 mm long and weighing about 70 kg. It is rated very difficult, certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland, and priced at 2,268 EUR excluding VAT.
A genuinely hard station for an outdoor circuit
Most outdoor fitness equipment is calibrated for beginners, which is why experienced users stop going back to it. This station is the opposite: the bench press geometry loads a high proportion of body weight through the pectorals, deltoids and triceps, and the difficulty rating is very difficult for that reason. Installing one gives an outdoor area something for the users who already train, and it is often the station that determines whether a site keeps a regular adult user base.
Because resistance is body weight, load scales automatically with the user, and there is no stack, pin or cable to maintain on an unsupervised site.

Is this station suitable for beginners?
Not on its own. It is rated very difficult, and a circuit built around it will exclude most casual users. Pair it with easier upper-body stations so the area works across ability levels.
Can the resistance be reduced?
Only through body position and range of movement. There is no adjustable load, which is a deliberate design choice for equipment installed without supervision.
How long does the finish last outdoors?
The shot-blasted and galvanised frame with a double polyester coat is specified for permanent outdoor exposure. HDPE panels resist weather and UV and are replaceable individually if damaged.
