Description
The Double Hand Wheels TRAINER is an outdoor arm and shoulder station with two rotating positions, from the OutdoorStart range. Certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland, it is supplied by Light In Fitness at 1,596 EUR excluding VAT.
Two positions, four wheels, no waiting
Each position carries its own pair of rotating handles, so two people work at the same time and independently. On a municipal circuit that matters more for the mobility stations than for the strength ones, because arm rotation is the movement most visitors are willing to try, and a single-position unit becomes the bottleneck of the whole area on a Sunday afternoon.
- Two independent training positions
- Works the shoulder girdle and the arms
- Improves flexibility and joint mobility of the upper limbs
- Difficulty rated easy, 150 kg maximum user weight per position
Choosing between the standard and the reinforced build
This unit is built to the standard OutdoorStart specification: high-grade steel, shot-blasted and hot-dip galvanised, double-coated in polyester powder, with UV-resistant HDPE rotating handles. That is the right choice for the majority of sites, including parks, campsites and residential areas with normal supervision. Where a location has very heavy footfall or a vandalism history, the Steel4Fit equivalent uses seamless S355 steel on the curved members and a heavier coating process. Both carry the same certification and the same movement; the difference is the duty they are built for.

Frequently asked questions
Can an instructor use it for a small group session?
Two positions allow a supervisor to demonstrate on one side while a participant follows on the other, which is how adapted physical activity sessions in parks are usually run. For larger groups, two double units placed opposite each other work better than one unit and a queue.
Is there any resistance to overcome?
Only the inertia of the wheels. The station is designed for range of motion and joint mobility rather than for strength, so intensity is a matter of speed and duration. That is what allows it to be used by visitors with very different capacities on the same afternoon.
How does it compare with the double helm?
The helm is one large rim turned with both hands together; the hand wheels are separate discs, one per arm, so each shoulder moves through its own range. Circuits that include both give users two distinct rotational patterns instead of a repeated one.
