The TRAINER Steel4Fit lumbar bench brings targeted postural strengthening to outdoor fitness stations: back extensions performed on the bench strengthen the spinal extensor muscles, stabilise the vertebral column and engage the abdominals isometrically. It is built to the reinforced Steel4Fit standard for continuous, all-season public use.

Training function and level

The user anchors the legs and hinges the torso over the pad, working the lumbar extensors through a controlled range, with the glutes and hamstrings assisting and the abdominals bracing. Care and maintenance

Wipe upholstery after use with a damp cloth and a neutral detergent; alcohol and chlorine-based products crack the covering. Once a month, check cable condition, pulley alignment and bolt tightness. Chrome parts are kept with a dry cloth, never an abrasive sponge.
