Description
The TRAINER push station with pylon works the chest, the scapular girdle and the upper limbs through a pressing movement, and its folding seat adapts instantly to a wheelchair user or to a standing user. Paired with the pulling station in the same range, it gives a balanced upper body circuit on two pieces of outdoor equipment.
Construction follows the range: high quality steel, shot blasted then galvanised, with a double coat of polyester paint, and a seat in high density polyethylene panels. The unit weighs 50 kg and the mounting pylon, included, adds 50 kg.
Overall dimensions are 1140 x 740 x 2020 mm and the recommended safety zone is 414 x 374 cm, slightly wider than the pulling station because of the longer press travel. Maximum user weight is 150 kg, the difficulty level is medium, and the equipment is certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland.

Laying out an inclusive outdoor circuit
Push and pull stations are normally installed as a pair, with three to four metres between them so that the two safety zones do not overlap and a wheelchair can turn between them. Adding a mobility station and a cardio station completes a circuit that a user can run through in fifteen minutes.
The surfacing is the decisive item of the budget on an inclusive project. A firm, level, non slip surface across the safety zones and along the approach routes costs more than grass, and it is the condition without which the accessible equipment cannot be reached.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the safety zone larger than on the pulling station?
The pressing movement extends further from the frame, so the recommended zone is 414 x 374 cm against 394 x 374 cm for the pulling station.
Can a standing user use the same station?
Yes. The seat folds down for standing users and folds away for a wheelchair, with no tools and no intervention by an attendant.
