Description
The TRAINER reverse fly with pylon is an outdoor strength station usable by wheelchair users and standing users alike, thanks to a folding seat mechanism. It works the posterior chain of the upper body: the scapular girdle, the shoulders, the posterior thoracic region and the back muscles, through a reverse movement that complements the chest fly station in the same range.
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted and galvanised, then finished with a double coat of polyester paint. The seat is high density polyethylene panelling. The unit weighs 47 kg, plus 50 kg for the mounting pylon included in the supply. The equipment is certified to EN 16630:2015-06, the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment, tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.
Overall dimensions are 780 x 581 x 2020 mm and the recommended safety zone is 378 x 405 cm. Maximum user weight is 150 kg and the difficulty level is rated medium. Four colour schemes are available as standard: yellow RAL 1018/7004, graphite RAL 7016/9006, orange RAL 2000/9006 and lime RAL 6018/9006, with other colours on quotation.

Designing an inclusive outdoor fitness area
A mixed use station is not the same thing as a separate accessible area. Here the seat folds away so that a wheelchair user rolls into the same position a standing user occupies, at the same station, which is what municipalities are usually looking for when they specify inclusion rather than segregation.
Two conditions have to be met on site. The 378 x 405 cm safety zone must be kept clear, and the approach to it needs a firm, level surface a wheelchair can cross: a bonded rubber surface or a compacted path, not loose gravel or grass. Pair the station with the TRAINER chest fly for balanced work on the shoulders and back.
Frequently asked questions
Does the pylon come with the equipment?
Yes. The 50 kg mounting pylon is included in the supply, in addition to the 47 kg unit.
Which standard applies to this equipment?
EN 16630:2015-06 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment, with testing and certification by TUV Rheinland.
Can the colours be matched to an existing scheme?
Four RAL combinations are standard and other colours are quoted on request, which is useful when the station is added to an existing municipal park with a defined palette.
