Description
The TRAINER E43 combines a low pull trainer and a high pull trainer on one order reference, designed for wheelchair users. Both units stand 2,020 mm high, take users up to 150 kg, and are certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland. Professional price: 2,352 EUR excluding VAT for the pair.
Two pulling heights on one accessible circuit
The value of the combination is the angle. The low trainer places the grips near chest height for a seated user and loads the pulling pattern horizontally; the high trainer places them overhead and loads it vertically. A wheelchair user working only one of the two builds a narrow, repetitive pattern – which is exactly the problem with most single-station accessible provision. Installed together, the two units cover the range that an ambulant user would get from a lat pulldown and a seated row.
Movement and muscles worked
Both stations develop the upper chest and the arms and, worked continuously, raise cardiorespiratory capacity. Resistance comes from the user own effort against the mechanism, so there is nothing to set. Difficulty is rated easy, which is deliberate: these are stations designed to be approachable for users returning to activity, not to produce maximal loads.

Where it is specified
Urban parks, municipal fitness areas and accessible health trails where adapted physical activity has to be provided for wheelchair users. EN 16630:2015-06 is the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and is the reference used in public procurement for this category.
The pair belongs to the wheelchair-accessible TRAINER range, so it can be combined with the folding-seat stations on the same circuit without a change of finish or anchoring detail.
Frequently asked questions
Are both trainers supplied under this reference?
Yes. Reference E43 covers the low trainer and the high trainer, each with its own footprint and safety area. They can be positioned adjacent or separated along a trail, as long as each keeps its clear zone.
What approach is needed for a wheelchair?
A firm, level and continuous route from the nearest accessible path to the training position, and surfacing inside the safety area that allows wheel travel. Loose-fill surfacing will make the station unusable in practice even though the equipment itself is accessible.
Can the colour be matched to existing park furniture?
Four RAL schemes are standard. Any other RAL reference is quoted on request, which is the normal route where a scheme has a defined palette.
Light In Fitness designs inclusive outdoor fitness areas for local authorities, care facilities and property developers. Send your site plan and access constraints and we will quote equipment, surfacing and installation together.
