Description
The Forza FB01 chest press is a selectorised pressing machine with a converging path that reproduces the horizontal press while keeping the load fully guided. The handles travel inwards towards the midline at the end of the movement, which allows the pectoralis major to reach full contraction through the whole range instead of stopping short as a strictly linear machine does. It is a core machine for the chest area of a commercial gym, and it is equally usable by a first week member and by an experienced lifter.
Because the load is guided, no spotter is required. That single fact changes how the machine is used in practice: members train to failure safely, hotel guests use it unsupervised, and rehabilitation programmes can prescribe controlled pressing after shoulder injury. Changing the load takes one movement of the selector pin rather than loading and unloading plates, which keeps circuit timing predictable during busy periods.
Seat and backrest are both adjustable so the handle path lines up with the chest of users of different heights. The handles offer several grip positions, allowing the angle of the press to be varied and the clavicular or sternal portions of the pectoralis to be emphasised. Secondary work falls on the anterior deltoid and the triceps, with the pectoralis minor, serratus anterior and coracobrachialis stabilising the shoulder blade.

Specifying the FB01 for a commercial floor
The FB01 sits at the head of the pressing group, normally next to a shoulder press and an incline press so members can run a full pushing sequence without crossing the room. Allow clear access on both sides of the seat for entry and exit and behind the weight stack for maintenance. In a chest area built around free weights, the machine acts as the safe entry point for beginners and as a finishing station for experienced members who have already used the bench. Delivery in mainland France is by specialist carrier, and on site assembly and installation are available as a quoted option. Send us your floor plan and we will position the machine within the wider chest and shoulder zone as part of a free layout study.
Frequently asked questions
How does a converging machine differ from a linear one?
On a converging machine the arms move towards each other as they extend, following the natural arc of the shoulder joint. A linear machine keeps the handles parallel throughout, which limits the contraction available at the end of the press.
Is the machine suitable for rehabilitation work?
The guided path and the adjustable seat make it a common choice for supervised shoulder rehabilitation, where the movement has to be repeatable and the load closely controlled. Programming remains the responsibility of the practitioner.
What is included in the price?
The price is for the machine complete with its weight stack, excluding VAT. Despatch from stock takes 5 to 10 working days. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, with export priced per project, and installation is quoted separately.
