Description
The Lexco LS-704 is a facing pulley station, the multi-purpose cable machine that covers more exercises than any other single unit on a gym floor. Two opposing cable columns allow the load to be pulled in any direction and at any height, which means chest flys, cable crossovers, rows, pulldowns, rotations, wood chops, curls, triceps extensions and a large part of a functional or rehabilitation programme all run from one station.
That versatility is why cable stations are the first machine specified when a facility has to serve very different users from a limited footprint. A prestigious fitness centre uses it for advanced training variety, a corporate gym uses it because one unit replaces six, and a physiotherapy practice uses it because resistance can be applied at any angle and at very low load. The LS-704 is part of the Lexco professional line, built for intensive daily use over many years, and supplied by Light In Fitness across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Planning a cable station into a layout
A facing pulley station needs the working area between the columns kept permanently clear, and that area is larger than the machine itself: a crossover uses the full width and a wood chop uses the full depth. It is the one machine where sizing from the footprint alone reliably produces an unusable installation. Position it with open floor on at least three sides, away from circulation routes, and treat the space between the columns as part of the equipment rather than as spare floor. Handles and bars should be stored on the frame so they are not left on the ground. Because the published data for this model covers configuration and duty rating rather than dimensions, we confirm the footprint, stack weights and working clearances against the current manufacturer drawing when we quote, and we can supply the handle set specification with it.
Frequently asked questions
How many exercises can one station cover?
Realistically several dozen, since the cable can be pulled at any height and in any direction. In practice a cable station is limited by the handles supplied and by the coaching around it rather than by the machine.
How much clear space is required?
More than the footprint suggests, because crossover and rotation movements use the full area between the columns. We size that working zone as part of a free implantation study drawn from your floor plan.
Are handles and accessories included?
The standard handle set is confirmed at quotation stage, and additional bars, ropes and ankle straps can be added to the quotation so the station is complete on delivery.
