Description

The Lexco LS-109 is a seated dip machine, the guided version of an exercise that most members cannot perform at bodyweight. A parallel bar dip demands the user press their entire mass from a dead hang position, which excludes a large part of a typical membership on day one. The seated machine applies a selectable load instead, so the same movement pattern for the triceps, the lower pectorals and the anterior deltoid becomes available to a beginner while remaining useful to an advanced member.

Because the user is seated and supported, the movement is easy to coach and repeatable between sessions. That makes it a practical station in facilities without permanent supervision, such as corporate fitness rooms and hotel gyms, and a useful tool in rehabilitation where triceps and shoulder loading has to be introduced gradually. The LS-109 belongs to the Lexco professional line, designed for intensive daily use over many years, and is supplied by Light In Fitness across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Professional use

A seated dip belongs with the pressing group rather than with the arm machines, because it is a compound push and members use it in the same sequence as a chest press or a shoulder press. Position it so that a user can enter the seat without stepping across a neighbouring machine, and leave working room behind the weight stack. In clubs that also offer a dip station on a rig, the machine acts as the progression route towards it: members build the pattern under a reduced load, then move to bodyweight. Published data for this model covers function and duty rating rather than dimensions, so we confirm the footprint, stack weight and clearances against the current manufacturer drawing when we quote.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from dips on a rig?

On a rig the user presses their full bodyweight. The machine applies a selected load from a supported seated position, which makes the movement accessible to members who cannot yet perform a bodyweight dip and easier to progress in measured steps.

What floor area should I allow?

Dimensions are confirmed from the current manufacturer drawing at quotation. Send us your floor plan and we will produce a free implantation study positioning the machine within the pressing group and checking circulation.

What are the delivery terms?

Stock items are despatched within 5 to 10 working days. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, export is priced per project, and installation is quoted separately. Quotations are returned within 24 working hours.
