Description
The Lexco LS-119 Total Hip is a selectorised machine that loads the hip, the glutes and the trunk in a standing position, covering the movements a seated lower body circuit leaves out. The user stands supported and drives one leg through hip extension, flexion, abduction or adduction depending on how the pad is set, so the working leg is loaded while the supporting side stabilises. That combination trains the hip in the pattern it actually uses when walking, running and changing direction.
It is a machine with two distinct audiences. In a commercial gym it is the station members ask for when they want glute work that goes beyond a hip thrust or an abduction machine. In a physiotherapy or rehabilitation practice it provides controlled single leg hip loading in standing, which is difficult to reproduce with free weights at low resistance. The Lexco range is dimensioned for intensive daily use, so the same unit copes with a high level athlete and with a first session after injury.

Professional use
A total hip machine occupies a small footprint but needs clear space on the working side for the leg to swing through its full range without meeting a neighbouring machine or a wall. It is normally placed at the end of the lower body line, where users can approach from either side, and it pairs naturally with a hip abduction and adduction machine rather than duplicating it. Demand for glute focused equipment has risen steadily in mixed membership clubs, and a standing machine reads as more advanced than a seated one, which affects how members perceive the whole zone. Published data for this model covers its function and duty rating rather than its dimensions, so we confirm the footprint, stack weight and clearances against the current manufacturer drawing when we quote.
Frequently asked questions
Which movements does the machine cover?
Standing single leg hip work in the directions allowed by the pad setting, loading the gluteals and the hip musculature while the trunk stabilises. Programming the specific movements is set by your coaching or clinical team.
What floor area should I allow?
Plan a clear swing zone on the working side rather than sizing from the machine footprint alone. Send us your floor plan and we will produce a free implantation study that positions the machine within the lower body zone and confirms the clearances against the current drawing.
What are the delivery terms?
Equipment held in stock is despatched within 5 to 10 working days. Delivery covers France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, export is priced per project, and installation is quoted separately. Quotations are returned within 24 working hours.
