Description
The TRAINER pull station with pylon is an outdoor strength unit for the upper body, with a folding seat that lets a wheelchair user and a standing user work at the same equipment. The pulling movement develops the shoulders, the back, the scapular girdle and the chest, and it is the natural counterpart of the pushing station in the same range.
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted and galvanised, protected by a double coat of polyester paint. The seat is high density polyethylene panelling, unaffected by rain and ultraviolet exposure. The unit weighs 50 kg, to which the 50 kg mounting pylon included in the supply is added.
The station measures 940 x 740 x 2020 mm overall and requires a safety zone of 394 x 374 cm. Maximum user weight is 150 kg and the difficulty level is medium. It is certified to EN 16630:2015-06, tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Mixed use stations in a municipal fitness area
Equipment described as mixed use is not a compromise between two products. The seat folds out of the way so that a wheelchair occupies the working position, and folds back for a standing user, which means a single station serves the whole public and does not stand idle when no wheelchair user is present.
On site, two points decide whether the station is genuinely accessible: the 394 x 374 cm safety zone must be surfaced with a firm, level material, and the approach must be continuous from the path with no kerb. A bonded rubber or rubber tile surface satisfies both requirements and also serves the standing users.
