Description
The TRAINER seated pull trainer extends upper-body strength training to wheelchair users on public fitness areas: its pulling movement is performed entirely from a seated position, directly from the wheelchair and with no transfer. The 202 cm station is certified to EN 16630:2015-06 and tested by TUV Rheinland.
Training function and muscles worked
The pulling motion strengthens the arms, shoulders and back, the muscle groups wheelchair users rely on daily for propulsion and transfers. Rated easy and requiring no instruction, the station allows autonomous training for users up to 150 kg, and pairs naturally with the wheelchair-accessible arm trainer for a complete accessible upper-body circuit.
Accessibility by design
The open approach and working height are dimensioned so a wheelchair positions directly at the station. For a compliant installation, plan an accessible, firm surface up to the unit and a clear safety zone of approximately 388 x 367 cm; our layout study covers approach paths and surfacing.
