Description
The TRAINER two station multifunction unit for wheelchair users mobilises the upper body across two complementary exercise positions on one compact structure. It strengthens the arms, shoulders, back and legs and improves motor control and coordination. Combining two stations on a single frame is what makes a complete session possible in a small area, which is usually the constraint on an inclusive circuit rather than the budget.
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted then hot dip galvanised and finished with a double coat of polyester paint for durable outdoor resistance. It is certified to EN 16630:2015-06, tested and certified by TUV Rheinland. The difficulty is rated easy, which places it at the entry point of a circuit rather than as a challenge station.

Fitting a complete session into a small area
The unit is intended for urban parks, municipal fitness areas and accessible circuits, offering a complete workout within a compact envelope. The declared safety zone of 508 x 370 cm, around 18.8 m2, is the figure that governs the layout and must remain clear of paths, seating, planting and adjacent apparatus.
For an inclusive installation the approach matters as much as the equipment. The path to each of the two positions must be firm, level and continuous, with no step and no loose gravel margin, and there must be turning space for a wheelchair to align at each station. Impact attenuating surfacing to EN 1177 is dimensioned to the free fall height and must be firm enough to roll on. Anchoring is into concrete foundations sized to the ground conditions, and a site survey before ordering is advisable.
Frequently asked questions
What do the two stations do?
They provide two complementary movements for the upper body and legs, so a full session can be completed on one structure without moving to another machine. That is the practical benefit for a user with limited mobility.
Can two users train at the same time?
The two positions are separate, which allows parallel use and makes the unit suitable for a supervised pair or a small group session in a park.
What surfacing and maintenance are required?
An impact attenuating surface to EN 1177 across the safety zone, rollable for a wheelchair, plus annual inspection of anchors, fixings and the paint film. Steel structures carry a 20 year warranty.
