TRAINER P04 Quadruple Pylon - Support Post for Four Stations

The TRAINER P04 is a quadruple pylon: a reinforced central post that carries up to four outdoor fitness devices on a single foundation. Certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland, it is supplied by Light In Fitness at 1,644 EUR excluding VAT.

Four stations, one excavation

Foundation work is one of the largest hidden costs of an outdoor fitness project. Every free-standing station means an excavation, a concrete pour, a curing delay and a reinstatement of the surrounding surface. A quadruple pylon collapses four of those into one: a single reinforced post is set into one foundation, and four TRAINER devices are bolted around it. The saving is in site works and programme time, not just in hardware.

Where a four-way station makes sense

A quadruple pylon concentrates activity in one place, which is what you want on a small site, in a schoolyard, in a residential courtyard or at the mid-point of a fitness trail. It is less appropriate when the design intent is to spread stations along a route, or where four users working shoulder to shoulder would feel crowded. As a rule, use quadruple pylons for compact areas and single or double pylons where the layout is linear.

Construction and finish

High-grade steel, shot-blasted and hot-dip galvanised, then finished with a double layer of weather-resistant polyester powder coating. Because the post carries four devices and their combined dynamic loads, the section is reinforced relative to a single pylon, and the ground anchorage is designed for permanent installation. Standard colours are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other RAL references quoted on request.

Frequently asked questions

Which devices can be mounted on it?

Any TRAINER device designed for pylon mounting, which covers most of the OutdoorFit and wheelchair-accessible ranges. Free-standing units carrying their own base cannot be fitted to it. We check the combination when the order is configured, because the four devices also have to be compatible in terms of their overlapping safety zones.

Do four devices need four safety zones?

Each device has its own zone, and around a shared pylon those zones overlap substantially. The resulting area is much smaller than four separate installations would need, which is the other reason a quadruple station suits a constrained site. The combined zone is given on the layout drawing.

Can devices be added later?

Yes. A pylon can be installed with two devices and completed later, provided the additional units are specified from the compatible range and the safety zone was sized for the final configuration from the start.
