Description
The TRAINER D13 horizontal back massager weighs 60 kg, measures 135 x 80 x 150-160 cm and needs a safety zone of 435 x 380 cm. It is part of the OutdoorFit range, mounted on a support post or a load-bearing wall, and it is the heaviest of the recovery stations in the catalogue.
Horizontal rather than vertical
The two massage stations do different jobs. A vertical unit is worked by moving the body up and down against the rollers, reaching along the length of the spinal muscles. This horizontal version rolls across them instead, which is the movement that releases lateral tension in the mid-back after pulling work or after a day at a desk. Specifying both on the same trail gives a complete recovery station; specifying one gives half the movement pattern.
- Releases tension in tight back muscles
- Improves the condition of the back musculature over time
- Difficulty rating: moderate
- Minimum user height 140 cm, maximum user weight 150 kg
Materials and compliance
The structure is high-grade steel, shot-blasted and galvanised, then finished with a double layer of polyester paint rated against weather and UV exposure. Colourways are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other shades quoted on request. The station complies with EN 16630:2015 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and has been tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Planning notes
At 60 kg this station is twice the mass of the lighter OutdoorFit units, so confirm the post specification rather than assuming the one already ordered for a neighbouring station will carry it. Place it at the end of the circuit, near a bench or a shaded area, where users naturally stop.
Frequently asked questions
Is the support post included?
No. The price covers the massage unit only. Posts are ordered separately and sized to the number and weight of the stations they carry.
Should both massage stations be installed together?
They complement each other and are often specified as a pair, but each works on its own. If budget allows only one, choose according to the rest of the circuit: pulling-heavy trails benefit most from the horizontal version.
Does it need supervision or instructions?
No. The movement is self-administered at the user own pressure, with no load and no adjustment. Standard EN 16630 signage on the trail is sufficient.
Send us the site plan, the number of stations and the surfacing in place, and we will return a quotation covering equipment, posts, freight and certified installation.
