Corrosion protection and inspection duties

The steel is shot blasted and hot dip galvanised before the two coat polyester finish is applied. Protection therefore sits in the zinc layer under the paint, so a scratch from a bicycle handlebar or a skateboard does not open a corrosion path. This is the standard construction across the TRAINER outdoor line and is the reason the equipment is specified for coastal and heavily used urban sites.

The 400.9 x 385 cm safety area must be kept clear of obstacles and surfaced according to the free height of fall stated in the installation drawing. Is the support pylon included in the price?

No. The 1,926 EUR excluding VAT figure covers the butterfly station. The pylon, which adds around 50 kg, and its foundation are quoted separately along with delivery and installation.

How is the resistance adjusted?

There is no weight stack. Resistance comes from the user body weight acting through the lever geometry, so effort is regulated by tempo, range and repetition count. That is deliberate for unsupervised public installation, where selector pins and cables would be a maintenance and vandalism liability.
