TRAINER parallel bars, outdoor dip and support station

The TRAINER parallel bars are the full-length dip and support station of the OutdoorFit range: 185.6 x 55 x 153 cm, 50 kg, rated difficult and working inside a safety zone of 486 x 355 cm. The 1.86 m rail length is what separates them from a fixed dip station, because it allows travelling dips, swings, L-sits and support walks along the bars. Certified to EN 16630:2015-06 by TUV Rheinland, price 600 EUR excluding VAT.

What long bars make possible

Two short handles give one exercise. Two rails nearly two metres long give a whole training vocabulary, which is why parallel bars are the station calisthenics users go to first on any public circuit.

At 486 x 355 cm the safety zone is one of the larger ones in the range, because users swing and travel along the rails rather than staying over one point. Leave the long axis clear: the envelope has to extend beyond both ends of the bars, not just to the sides.

The 153 cm rail height is set so that a user of average build clears the ground at the bottom of a dip while still being able to mount without a step. That figure is why the station reads as difficult: there is no assisted variant built into the geometry, and the user has to support their full body weight from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Why are these classed difficult when a dip station is medium?

Rail height and length. A short dip station lets the user keep the feet down and scale the load; these bars are set at 153 cm over a 1.86 m span, which means full bodyweight support and room to swing. Both stations train the same muscles at very different entry levels.

Is the support structure included?

No. The 600 EUR excluding VAT covers the equipment; the pylon or wall fixing set is quoted separately. Where several OutdoorFit modules are installed, one column can often carry more than one, which we confirm on the layout drawing.

Can the bar height be adjusted after installation?

No. The height is fixed by design, which is what keeps a public installation certified and consistent. Where a project needs both a high and a low set of bars, we specify two stations rather than one adjustable unit.
