The TRAINER shoulder press is a pylon mounted outdoor strength station with the smallest footprint in the OutdoorFit range: 54 x 61 cm on plan, 166 cm high, 45 kg, safety zone 354 x 361 cm. EN 16630:2015-06, certified by TUV Rheinland. Price: 1,536 EUR excluding VAT, post sold separately.
Upper body strength on an outdoor area
Most municipal fitness areas end up cardio heavy: a bike, a cross trainer, a stepper, and very little for the upper body. The shoulder press fixes that gap. The exercise strengthens the shoulder girdle and the free part of the upper limb, with particular emphasis on the lateral portions of the arms, and it does so with a movement that is rated easy and needs no explanation.
Maximum user weight is 150 kg. Resistance comes from the user, so there is nothing to set, nothing to steal and nothing that can be left at the wrong setting for the next person.
The smallest footprint in the range
At 54 x 61 cm the unit takes less plan area than any other OutdoorFit station, which makes it the easiest to slot into an area that is already laid out. The recommended safety zone of 354 x 361 cm is what actually governs the spacing, and it overlaps efficiently with neighbouring stations along a shared post line.

Materials and finish
The structure is high quality steel, shot blasted and galvanised, then protected by a double layer of polyester paint for weather resistance. Standard colours are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other shades quoted on request. This is galvanised and painted carbon steel, not stainless steel.

Frequently asked questions
Can two stations share one post?
Yes, that is the logic of the pylon system: several units are grouped on a reduced number of posts, which cuts the number of foundations. The limit is the safety zones, which must not overlap the working area of a neighbouring station. We produce the layout before the order is confirmed.
Is the post included in the price?
No. The 1,536 EUR excluding VAT covers the shoulder press unit. The post or wall fixing is quoted with the rest of the area, since its cost depends on how many stations it carries.
How much maintenance does it need?
An annual visual inspection of the fixings, the moving parts and the paint film is normally enough. Galvanising under the paint means that a scratch does not start a corrosion front, which is what keeps the maintenance budget of an outdoor area predictable.
