Description
The TRAINER surfer reproduces the twisting motion of riding a wave: standing on its rotating platform, users mobilise the lower body, the oblique abdominals and the hip muscles while training balance and whole-body coordination. Part of the compact OutdoorFit range, the unit mounts on a pylon or load-bearing wall, sold separately.
Training function and muscles worked
The controlled rotation stimulates the legs and hips, strengthens the obliques and develops general flexibility and coordination. Rated easy and requiring no instruction, the surfer is a popular station with all ages on municipal fitness areas, and a good balance-training complement to strength and cardio stations on a health trail.
Compact pylon-mounted design
OutdoorFit units are compact modules fixed to a shared TRAINER pylon or an existing load-bearing wall. Several modules can share one support, keeping the ground footprint small and the fitness area easy to reconfigure. Note that the listed price does not include the support pylon or post, which is required for installation and quoted separately.

No. The surfer is an OutdoorFit module and requires a TRAINER pylon or a load-bearing wall fixing, which is quoted separately according to your chosen configuration.
Who can use the surfer?
Anyone taller than 140 cm and up to 150 kg. The easy difficulty level and intuitive movement make it suitable for beginners, families and seniors working on balance and core control.
Is it certified for public parks?
Yes. The unit complies with EN 16630:2015 for fixed outdoor fitness equipment and is tested and certified by TUV Rheinland. Allow a clear safety zone of approximately 374 x 375 cm.
