Why the pylon format costs less to install
A free standing station needs its own concrete foundation. Ten free standing stations need ten of them, with ten excavations, ten pours and ten curing periods before the area can open.
The OutdoorFit range works differently. The apparatus mounts on a shared support post or on a load bearing wall, so several stations are carried by a reduced number of posts. The equipment line of the budget falls slightly; the civil works line falls a lot, and the site is finished sooner. That is the calculation to make when an area holds more than four or five stations.
A pendulum movement that spares the joints
The station stimulates the lower body, strengthens the leg and hip muscles and increases cardio respiratory capacity. The pendulum motion relieves the hip joints during the effort: there is no impact phase at all, which is what makes it usable by people for whom running or stepping is uncomfortable. Difficulty is rated easy, users must be over 140 cm tall and the maximum user weight is 150 kg.

Materials and finish
High quality steel structure, shot blasted and galvanised, covered with a double layer of polyester paint resistant to weather and UV. Colours: yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006), lime (RAL 6018/9006), other shades on request. Galvanised and painted carbon steel, not stainless steel.

How many stations can share one post?
It depends on the post specified and on the safety zones, which must not overlap the working area of a neighbouring apparatus. We draw the layout and confirm the number of posts before the order is placed, so the civil works can be priced accurately.
Is the post included in the price?
No. The 1,464 EUR excluding VAT covers the nordic walker unit. The post or wall fixing is quoted with the rest of the area.
Can it be fixed to an existing wall?
Yes, if the wall is load bearing and in sound condition. Send us photographs and the wall construction and we will confirm whether it can carry the dynamic loading, and specify the fixings if it can.
