Description
The TRAINER D01 outdoor chest press weighs 70 kg, measures 104 x 70 x 164 cm and needs a safety zone of 416 x 370 cm. It is the pushing station of the OutdoorFit range, mounted on a support post or a load-bearing wall rather than on its own base.
The push half of an outdoor circuit
A trail built only from pushing stations produces a predictable imbalance, which is why the chest press is almost always specified alongside a pulling station. Here the user sits, grips the handles at chest height and pushes forward against body weight. Resistance scales with the person rather than with a setting, so the station needs no adjustment, no keys and no supervision, and it works equally for a first-time user and a regular trainee.
- Primary muscles: pectorals
- Secondary: shoulder girdle and upper limbs
- Difficulty rating: moderate
- Minimum user height 140 cm, maximum user weight 150 kg
Materials, finish and compliance
The frame is high-grade steel, shot-blasted and galvanised, then finished with a double layer of polyester paint resistant to weather and UV. Colourways are yellow (RAL 1018/7004), graphite (RAL 7016/9006), orange (RAL 2000/9006) and lime (RAL 6018/9006), with other shades quoted on request. The station complies with EN 16630:2015 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and has been tested and certified by TUV Rheinland.

Planning the installation
At 70 kg this is one of the heavier OutdoorFit units, so the post specification has to account for it rather than being chosen from the lightest station in the order. The published price covers the press only; the triple pylon support post is the usual choice where three stations share a single foundation, which is where the range earns its cost advantage.
Frequently asked questions
Should it be installed with the pulling station?
It is the standard pairing. Push and pull stations on the same post give a balanced upper-body circuit in one position, and the second unit adds almost nothing to the civil works.
Can the resistance be increased?
No, and that is intentional. The load is the user own body weight acting through the machine geometry, which removes every adjustable part from an unsupervised public installation.
What clear area is required?
416 x 370 cm, kept free of benches, planters and the safety zones of neighbouring stations. Use that figure for site planning rather than the 104 x 70 cm frame footprint.
Send us the number of stations, the site plan and the delivery address, and we will price equipment, posts and installation in a single quotation.
