Rotation for the shoulder girdle

The station is turned like a ship wheel, a large diameter rotation performed standing. It works the shoulder girdle, the pectorals, the forearms and the arms, and it improves flexibility and mobility of the upper limbs. Difficulty is rated easy, users must be over 140 cm tall and the maximum user weight is 150 kg.

What the movement really trains is shoulder range. Circular motion through a full arc is the thing most adults stop doing entirely, and it is why shoulders stiffen with age. A station that invites it, without instruction and without a load to select, gets used, which is the only way mobility work has any effect at all.

Hot-dip galvanising under two powder coats is a three layer protection system rather than the paint over galvanising of the standard line. It is galvanised carbon steel, not stainless steel.

The apparatus weighs 25 kg and mounts on a post that adds a further 50 kg. The recommended safety zone is 347 x 390 cm, and that figure, rather than the 47 x 90 cm footprint, is what governs the spacing between stations.

Is the post included in the price?

The post is a separate item, and it accounts for 50 of the 75 kg installed weight. It is quoted with the rest of the area, since a single post can often carry more than one apparatus.
