TRAINER Steel4Fit Vertical and Horizontal Back Massager

The TRAINER Steel4Fit Vertical and Horizontal Massager combines a vertical massager, a pole and a horizontal massager on a single 60 kg frame. It is built for outdoor sites with very heavy footfall, certified to EN 16630:2015 by TUV Rheinland, and priced at 2,368.80 EUR excluding VAT.

Function and use

The user rolls the back and shoulders against the vertical or horizontal rollers to release tight dorsal muscles and mobilise the thoracic spine. It is a recovery station rather than a strength station, and its role in an outdoor gym is the same as a foam roller zone indoors: it gives users something to do before and after the loaded stations, which measurably increases the time people spend on a site. Difficulty is rated medium.

The three elements on one frame – vertical massager, pole and horizontal massager – let two or three users work at once without adding footprint.

Steel4Fit reinforced construction

Steel4Fit takes the proven TRAINER design and reinforces it for very high-traffic locations. Curved members are formed from seamless S355 steel, straight members from S235. The assembly is welded, hot-dip galvanised and then powder coated twice for maximum protection against corrosion and UV. The finish is the range signature red and graphite, RAL 3000/7016.

Frequently asked questions

Why include a massage station in an outdoor gym?

It extends the time users stay on site and gives beginners and older users a station they can approach immediately. Circuits made up only of loaded stations lose the least confident users first.

How much maintenance does it need?

Very little. There is no cable, stack or bearing under load. Annual inspection covers the anchor bolts and the coating, with touch-up paint supplied for impact damage.

Is Steel4Fit worth the extra cost over the standard build?

On a low-traffic site, no. On a city-centre park, a coastal location or anywhere with a vandalism history, the seamless S355 sections, hot-dip galvanising and double powder coat are what keep the frame serviceable well beyond the standard finish.
