Description
The TRAINER Steel4Fit parallel bars are a reinforced outdoor dip station of roughly 102 x 71 x 192 cm, certified to EN 16630:2015 and finished in the range red and graphite livery. Two bars at a fixed height cover dips, support holds, L sits, swing throughs and inclined push ups, and they are the station on which a calisthenics user measures their progress. The Steel4Fit build exists for the sites where that popularity becomes a durability problem: campuses, dense urban parks and residential estates.

What parallel bars train
Dips are the closest body weight equivalent to a heavy press, loading the chest, the front deltoid and the triceps under close to full body weight. Below that ceiling the same bars support an entire progression: inclined push ups with the feet on the ground for beginners, support holds for shoulder stability, L sits and knee raises for the abdominal wall, and swing throughs for coordination. One station, every level, no instruction required.
- Dips, support holds, L sits and inclined push ups on one frame
- Works arms, chest, abdominal wall and back conditioning
- Suitable for users of all levels under intensive public use
- Seamless S355 curved elements, no weld at the bending points
- Hot dip galvanised then twice powder coated against corrosion and UV
Siting, anchoring and inspection
The safety area of approximately 462 x 431 cm is far larger than the structure because it must cover the fall envelope of a user in support position. Surface it against the free height of fall on the installation drawing and keep it clear of kerbs and planting. Ground anchoring is required.
The bars themselves are the wear point: they take grip contact from every user and the coating there will polish before anything else on the structure. That is cosmetic, since the zinc layer beneath carries the protection. Routine checks should cover the bar surface for burrs, the fixings and the anchors, with the annual main inspection recorded in the site log.
Frequently asked questions
How do Steel4Fit parallel bars differ from the standard version?
The design is the same; the construction is reinforced. Curved elements use seamless S355 steel, straight parts use S235, and the whole assembly is hot dip galvanised then powder coated twice, in the distinctive red and graphite finish.
Can beginners use them?
Yes. With the feet on the ground the bars support inclined push ups and partial dips, which is where most first time users start. The progression to full dips happens on the same equipment without any adjustment.
Are the dimensions definitive?
The figures given are indicative for this product family. The exact envelope and safety area for your configuration are confirmed on the installation drawing supplied with the quotation.
