Description
The TRAINER Steel4Fit Flat Bench Chest Press is an outdoor pressing station measuring 1,750 x 720 x 2,020 mm and weighing 45 kg plus a 50 kg mounting pylon. Rated difficult, it is certified to EN 16630:2015 by TUV Rheinland and priced at 2,154 EUR excluding VAT.
A demanding station in a reinforced build
The station reproduces the bench press using body weight as resistance, loading the pectorals, deltoids and triceps through a full pressing range. It is classified difficult, which is unusual for outdoor equipment and deliberate: circuits calibrated only for beginners lose their regular adult users within a season. This is the station that keeps trained users coming back to a public site.
Because it is a Steel4Fit build, it goes into locations where that traffic is precisely the problem – city-centre parks, coastal promenades, sites with a vandalism history.

Where it is installed
Urban parks and municipal fitness areas under intensive use. EN 16630:2015 is the European standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and is normally the reference required in public tenders. Allow the full 475 x 372 cm safety area, clear of paths and planting and surfaced to the free height of fall.

Frequently asked questions
Is this station suitable for a general public circuit?
Only as part of a mixed circuit. Rated difficult, it will exclude casual users on its own. Specify it alongside easier upper-body stations so the area works across the full range of abilities.
Why are the station and pylon weights separate?
The station weighs 45 kg and the pylon a further 50 kg. Both figures are needed for the foundation calculation, which is supplied with the order.
What does the Steel4Fit build change?
Seamless S355 curved sections, hot-dip galvanising and a double powder coat rather than a single coating pass. It is the specification for sites where a standard finish would need refurbishing too soon.
