Description
The Lexco LS-105 is an incline chest press with a 100 kg weight stack, an adjustable start bar and a handle angle set to bias the upper chest. The incline path is what separates it from a flat chest press: the same members can use both, and most clubs install the pair.
An inclined pressing angle shifts load towards the clavicular head of the pectoralis major and the front of the shoulder. On a free weight bench that angle is fixed by the bench and the lifter has to control the bar. Here the path is guided and the start position is set with a bar before the set, so a user with restricted shoulder mobility begins the press from a position that does not force the elbows behind the torso.
Seat height moves through ten steps on a rack and pinion lift with gas spring assistance. The frame is oval steel tube 50 x 105 mm with a 3.0 mm wall, and the finished machine weighs 245 kg, which keeps the base still when a member pushes hard against a full stack. Double sided ABS covers close the stack on both faces and memory foam pads carry marine grade upholstery.

Planning a chest area around guided presses
Guided presses take the pressure off the free weight benches at peak hours. A club running group classes alongside open floor training usually finds that two pressing angles and a butterfly absorb most of the chest traffic, leaving the benches for members who specifically want barbell work.
The machine stands 1619 mm tall and occupies roughly 1.4 by 1.4 m in plan, with the stack loaded from one side. Leave a corridor on the loading flank and clear access in front of the seat. At 245 kg, check the delivery route and any lift capacity before ordering. A siting plan with clearances is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
How does an incline press differ from a flat chest press?
The incline angle moves emphasis to the upper chest and front deltoid, and it changes the shoulder position at the start of the movement. Most strength areas carry both because members alternate between them rather than choosing one.
Does a guided press replace the barbell bench?
No, and it is not intended to. It removes the need for a spotter and makes pressing available to members who will never lie under a loaded bar, which is a different job from the one the bench does.
Can the start position be set for a shorter user?
Yes. The start bar brings the handles forward so the set begins with the elbows in front of the torso, and the seat rises through ten steps, so the handle path can be matched to the user rather than the other way round.
